I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and later moved to
New York where I began my theatre training at Fordham University in the Bronx. I taught Classical Latin in Philly and Queens for several years while pursuing acting. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing connection with my students during those years and consider them the most meaningful moments in my life.
I'm proud to be a lifetime member of The Actor’s Studio. I was also a professional stand-up comedian in NY for 10 years before moving to Los Angeles where I wrote and starred in “The Super Man” which won the Audience Award in the ITV Festival and is based on my real life job as a building superintendent in Los Angeles. It’s “The Super Man” that led to a meeting with Rob Mcelhenney and landed me a series regular role on the Fox Pilot “Living Loaded”. I have appeared in over 40 national commercials and have been the voice of many brands as well.
When I was growing up in blue collar Philadelphia I struggled a lot with being bullied and feeling lost. I use these experiences along with my experiences as a teacher, stand-up comedian, actor and writer to inspire young men and women as well as adults to find their voice and follow their dreams. "Your dreams are your truth. Negative thoughts that get in the way are simply inaccurate noise that we allow to affect us." I speak to high school and acting school students around the country and am excited to inspire as many people as I can of along the way.
